Larry Morgan, Sr. founded Morgan with his two sons, Larry Morgan, Jr. and Bryan Morgan in 1989 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Soon thereafter, they established the company headquarters in Baker, Florida.

They first focused on tunnels, bores, and pipelines, including small to large diameter hand mine and TBM tunnels, and small to large diameter pipelines and pump stations. The company grew into building larger pump stations and treatment plants, marine work, and pipe rehabilitation in the late 1990s.

Larry Morgan, Sr. passed away in 1999. Although it was a very trying time, Larry Morgan, Jr. and Bryan Morgan continued to press forward with building up the company.

Morgan is continuing to grow and further expand its territory and scope with its headquarters back in Knoxville, Tennessee since 2018. The company is licensed and/or qualified to work in all of the Southeastern United States and some of the western states, including Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Utah, and Arizona.

LARRY MORGAN, SR.

Larry Morgan, Sr. served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. After his Army service, he started in construction in the 1960s, building up multiple successful companies and taking on some of the most challenging projects during his construction career, including installing a 144” diameter tunnel under the Pentagon in the 1970s.

He bought his first airplane, a 1978 Beechcraft Sundowner, in 1979, and eventually moved up to different twin-engine airplanes. Along with his love of aviation, he was also a skilled scuba diver.

He traveled to several other countries and purchased 2,000 acres in Rancho Dolores, Belize with the intent to build an ecotourism retreat. He was an adventurer and a visionary, with an unmatched work ethic and unshakable integrity. The love of his life was his wife Ina, his six children, sixteen grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren, along with his faith and service in his church.

BRYAN MORGAN

Bryan’s role in the company was Executive Vice President and COO. He was an integral and vital part of Morgan’s success on every level for 25 years.

Since exiting the company in 2014, Bryan has enjoyed a successful career in training Special Forces teams for the United States military. Bryan owns and operates one of the largest private gun ranges in the United States near McCall, Idaho.

Bryan won the 2014 Sniper’s Hide Cup, the Texas Lone Star Challenge, and the 2014 Precision Rifle Series National Championship, along with several other matches on the Precision Rifle Series circuit.

Bryan, with a tremendous amount of support from his wife, trains dozens of elite military soldiers every year in the art of long-range shooting. These military men are the very tip of the spear in the United States and Allied forces ranks. Bryan’s service to others and our country is truly inspiring.

LARRY MORGAN, JR.

Larry served in the United States Army Reserves from 1987 to 1995. He has been the President and CEO of Morgan since inception in 1989.

Larry is actively involved with all of Morgan’s operations and is overseeing the continued growth and success of the company as the company's Chief Executive Officer.

Larry is an accomplished pilot, scuba diver, welder, CDL driver, heavy equipment operator, surveyor, explosives blaster, etc. He enjoys being involved in the construction process on every level.

Larry started working with his father at 14 years old in 1984 on large-diameter pipe projects during his summers off from school. His first job was in Raleigh, North Carolina on a 54” prestressed concrete waterline. Larry was the grease monkey, coffee runner, pipe joint grouter, and gopher, and was paid $3.35 an hour. He saved up almost $1,500 his first summer, then blew it all on video games and motorcycle parts in the following weeks.

JUSTIN MORGAN

Justin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Comprehensive Economics with Minor(s) in Finance and Management from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. He also earned a Master's in Business Administration from the Haslam College of Business in Knoxville, Tennessee.

 

During their time in college, Justin and his wife Jordan held various jobs in customer service, sales, construction, and management. They eventually started a family and now reside outside of Knoxville with their two children.

 

Since 2018, Justin has been working with Morgan and currently holds the position of President and Chief Operating Officer for the company.

AVIATION

Aviation has played a big part in the success of Morgan, allowing company managers to more easily visit job sites throughout the United States.

 

The founders of the company developed an aviation community, Sky Ranch, in Baker, Florida.

 

Larry Morgan, Sr. was a masterful pilot and instilled a passion for aviation in his sons, both of whom continue to fly today.
